TEEN COUNSELING · THORNTON, CO
Parents, You Don't have to Figure this Out Alone.
If you don't know what to do right now, that's okay. Looking for help is the right move, not a failure. We're here for you and your teen. Meet in person or online.
YOU KNOW YOUR TEEN
Here's what Parents usually notice first
✓ More angry or irritable than usual
✓ Pulling away from friends or family
✓ Big changes in sleep or eating
✓ Grades slipping, or losing interest in things they used to love
✓ Seeming sad, anxious, or just "not themselves"
If even one of these sounds familiar, that's reason enough to reach out.
YOU'RE NOT FAILING
Trust what You're seeing
You don't have to have all the answers right now. Reaching out for help is not a sign you've done something wrong. It's a sign you're paying attention. That's what good parents do.
Not Sure if Counseling is the Right Next Step?
That's a normal question to have. You don't need to be certain before you reach out. We can help you figure out if this is the right fit, no pressure either way.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before You Book
-
We do not bill insurance directly. We accept HSA and FSA cards. We can give you a receipt (called a superbill) to send to your insurance. They may pay you back part of the cost.
-
This happens a lot, and it's normal. We can talk with you first about how to bring it up. Your teen won't be pushed into anything they're not ready for. -
Yes, if you want it to be. Faith can be part of the sessions if it matters to your family. We don't require it, and we won't leave it out if it's important to you.

It depends on which counselors have open times that week. Most families get an appointment fairly fast, especially if you're willing to see any of our counselors instead of waiting for one person.
