Some Big Feelings Are Too Big to Handle Alone.
When your child is struggling, you feel it too.
YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD
Here's what parents usually notice first.
✓ Meltdowns or tantrums that feel bigger than the moment
✓ New fears, worries, or clinginess
✓ Trouble sleeping, or going back to old habits they had outgrown
✓ Problems at school, with friends, or with listening at home
✓ Seeming sad, quiet, or just not like themselves
You're not imagining it, and you're not alone. About 1 in 10 kids has anxiety, according to the CDC. If something feels off, that's reason enough to reach out.
Kids don't talk it out. They play it out.
Most kids can't sit on a couch and explain what's wrong. They don't have the words yet. But give them toys, art, and a safe room, and their feelings come out through play. That's why we use play therapy. To your child, it just feels like playing. To a trained counselor, it's how healing happens.
Child Counseling: Weekly sessions where kids work through big feelings in ways that make sense to them.
Parent Check-Ins: You're part of the process. We keep you in the loop and give you tools for home.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you book.
-
We do not bill insurance directly. We accept HSA and FSA cards. We can give you a receipt (called a superbill) to send to your insurance. They may pay you back part of the cost.
-
We work with children ages 4 to 12, depending on their needs, developmental stage, and the type of support that would be most helpful. If you’re unsure whether we’re the right fit, reach out and we’ll help guide you.
-
Yes. We keep some details private so your child feels safe opening up, but we check in with you regularly, share what's helping, and give you tools to use at home. You're part of the team.
-
Very common, and usually short-lived. Most kids warm up fast once they see the room is full of toys and nobody is making them talk. We'll help you with what to say before the first visit.
-
It depends on which counselors have open times that week. Most families get an appointment fairly fast, especially if you're willing to see any of our counselors instead of waiting for one person.
Not sure if your child needs counseling?
That's a normal question. You don't need to be certain before you reach out. Tell us what you're seeing, and we'll help you figure out if this is the right fit, no pressure either way.
